School workshops
The museum collaborates closely with teachers to offer students aged 4 to 16 an innovative educational experience that seeks to spark their curiosity, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, and help prepare young people meet contemporary challenges.
Our activities seek to provide participants with the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into a broad range of artisanal and technical skills that characterise our District through initiatives that always involve hands-on participation.
Workshops are held Monday to Friday, from 9.00am to 1.00pm and on Thursday and Friday afternoons from 2.30pm to 6.00pm. Groups have a maximum of 25 participants, and need to be booked in advance. To meet the needs of teachers, it’s possible to arrange alternative timetabling to our scheduled course times.
Activities are held in the rooms of the splendid nineteenth-century Villa Zuccareda Binetti. The building has good parking facilities. For coach parties, it’s possible to drop off visitors at the entrance gate, about 50 metres from the main entrance, and park the vehicle nearby. The Villa is easily reachable on foot from Montebelluna train station in about 20 minutes.
The museum is surrounded by a large park that can be used for picnics or other leisure activities. Guests may also use the covered areas within the museum. Classrooms are also accessible to people with mobility difficulties and the museum has accessible toilet facilities.
